Finding your perfect match in life seems to have some similarities to finding the perfect match for law school. So it’s no wonder Admissions Dean Sarah Zearfoss, ’92, an acknowledged expert in the latter, has also been known to dabble in the former, as in the recent case when classmates who wouldn’t have met without her asked her to marry them in the inner courtyard. She has since married three more couples: two more pairs of alumni and a couple who met through Michigan Law connections. So while nobody’s sure exactly which denomination granted it, Dean Z, among her many other powers, also has the authority to marry.
